The status control

There is no separate decision screen: the decision is the status in the header, and opening it lists the outcomes. Options carrying a padlock are not available from the phase the file currently stands in.

Why it matters

The list changes as the application moves, so on a file already in funding this same control is inverted — the underwriting states padlocked and the funding states open.

Watch out

A padlock is not a permissions problem. If the outcome you need is locked, the file is not there yet: Contract Initiated only opens once the application has been through Approved. An approval is good for 30 days — after that it reads Approved, Expired and the decision has to be run again. Countered is on the list but is not Marine’s path: the policy is approve or decline.
